MBBS in Abroad For Indian Students:

The abbreviation of MBBS can stand for Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery in English. It’s an international medical school undergraduate dual degree which enables a candidate to work as a doctor after graduation. It usually takes 6 years to pursue the degree. It is deliberated as the first professional undergraduate degree in medicine and surgery.

All over the world, except India and China, the medical degree is termed as MD i.e., Doctor of Medicine which is equivalent to MBBS.

If an Indian student is planning to study MBBS abroad, he/she have a number of options to consider. The most developed and expensive countries in medicals are US, UK, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. Post Graduation done only from these five countries is valid in India. Medicine and surgery can be directly practiced in India after perusing both the degrees in these countries without even clearing MCI screening test. But very few can afford the budget for these developed countries.

There are many universities in China, Russia, Philippines, Ukraine and some parts of America which provide good quality education at a very low cost. Students even prefer for Caribbean Islands to study medicine because of its high standard of living, quality education, and affordable fee structures.

Eligibility Criteria for MBBS in Abroad:

Indian students should have an eligibility criterion to study MBBS in abroad countries. It is strictly followed by some rules and regulations set by The Medical Council of India.

The candidate should have passed the senior secondary examination by scoring minimum 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Those from SC/ST category should have scored at least 40%. Followed by this, you may even need to clear some entrance exams provided by the universities depending on their tastes. Some may even consider your NEET scores.

MBBS Course Duration:

MBBS is usually a five and half-year course. Generally, the first year consists of a premed course where in which students learn the basic subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry. The next one and a half year covers the subjects like Microbiology, Pathology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine and etc. Students learn subjects like ENT and Ophthalmology in the third year. And the last year can be simply called as Clinical/Core Rotations or Internship. The duration and the way can differ in some of the Universities.

We can study MBBS abroad in a very less cost comparing to India. There are countries like Philippines, China and Russia which provide quality education in a very less cost. There are Universities in the non-US parts of America like Caribbean Islands where you can even get a chance to become an US doctor or a globalized  doctor in a cheaper cost.
